Who do you go to for comfort
When no one is around,
When everything in your life
Seems to be looking down.
Who do you go to for comfort,
When you are feeling so all alone,
Needing to be loved and wanted,
Hoping for a place to call home.
Who do you go to for comfort
And the security that you need,
Looking back down through your life,
There's not a memory that you want to see.

For I have only found one true place,
Straight to the arms of my Father,
Who softly wipes the tears from my face.

To the One who truly loves me,
Who sacrificed His only Son Jesus,
So from my sins I could be set free.

To my Father who is always there,
The One who has never let me down,
And shows me just how much He cares.

To the One who never leaves my side,
My God, my Father, my everything,
Who gives me hope and a reason to try.
